Private-service ranges for early planning
These are broad illustrative budgets, not official rates, advertised offers, surveyed Waco averages, or quotes. A contractor may price outside them. “Full load” depends on truck dimensions and weight capacity, so two companies’ load labels may not be comparable.

Get an exact contractor quote before booking. Ask whether labor, travel, stairs, dismantling, long carries, disposal, and special-item fees are included. Have the contractor explain any conditions that would change the total before loading begins.
Published City extra bulky-service charges
Eligible curbside customers have a requested monthly bulky option within program limits. For additional service, the City’s utility rate schedule publishes these volume bands. Confirm eligibility and arrangements with the City directly; the quote form on this site reaches private contractors, not the City.

Resident benefits require an eligibility check
The March 2026 landfill and transfer-station announcement describes eligible residential customers receiving up to one ton, four times per year, at no charge. Cobbs has its own separate rules: up to eight cubic yards per visit and four trips per year for eligible residents with the required identification and water bill. These are different programs, not interchangeable allowances.
Cobbs requires proof of refrigerant removal for Freon appliances or its stated $15 City removal option. Do not confuse that procedure with a private appliance pickup quote, or assume residential benefits apply to commercial loads.
Three questions that make prices comparable
